MANHATTAN MADNESS (Circuit + Spin)
20 minutes of pure adrenaline pumping cardio in our New York spin room, intervelled with 20 minutes of a sweat dripping, strength building session in Hell’s Kitchen. This class will vary with the use of Spin Bikes, TRX, Kettlebells, Sleds, Rower, Battle Ropes and other fun toys.
HELLS KITCHEN (Circuit)
45 minutes of grunt and grind pushing your boundaries physically and mentally. HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) and AMRAP’s (As Many Reps As Possible) are the basis for a fun and exciting workout that will have you wanting more.
Active Boxing classes are one of the most effective methods to lose weight, tone muscles, and build strength. Classes mainly involve boxing combinations, cardio drills, and specific boxing exercises. This class is designed for beginner to advanced levels of fitness. Workout includes using upper and lower body and is great for anyone wanting to increase their cardio vascular fitness and lose those unwanted kilos.
BROADWAY FIIT (Outdoor Bootcamp)
Enjoy an exciting total body workout experience. This Fun Intense Interval Training (FIIT) kicks off outside and combines cardio and agility drills to challenge your body on all levels. Expect sport conditioning types of intervals, while using a wide variety of equipment. Although this class is a tough one, all levels can enjoy a great workout, as modifications are offered for all fitness levels.
MIND AND BODY (YOGA/PILATES)
Compliment your training at Active in our Mind and Body class designed with the combination of Yoga and Pilates to regain the strength you were born with, this class will make you feel better than you knew you could.
UPTOWN LIFT (BodyPump)
Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, UPTOWN LIFT gives you a total body workout. Instructors will coach you through the scientifically proven moves and techniques pumping out encouragement, motivation and great music – helping you achieve much more than you could on your own! You’ll leave the class feeling challenged and motivated, ready to come back for more.
GROUND ZERO (CROSSFIT)
Ground zero is a CrossFit based class that focuses on the fundamentals of CrossFit. This class is perfect for beginners or even advanced clients who want to perfect their technique with our qualified trainer. The strong focus on technique helps you achieve the best results. Sessions are finished off with a WOD (Workout of the Day) which is guaranteed to test your limits.
MIDTOWN CRUNCH (abs)
An ab class focused on engaging and strengthening the most important foundation of your body, the core. A dynamic mix of exercises and creative use of specific tools will have you breaking a sweat and burning up that midsection.
DOWNTOWN TREAD (Step)
Step class is a high energy and fun fitness class where you perform a range of aerobic moves using step ‘platforms’ to enhance your workout! No matter what your age, ability or experience, step class is an activity suitable for everyone. Our upbeat classes will ensure you are boosting your fitness, getting a top workout, and having a great time with our encouraging instructors.
